I am a 34 year old executive at the largest consulting firm in the world. I love my job - the people, the challenges, the high pressure atmosphere - and have watched my career thrive since graduating from college over 11 years ago.
In 2012, I did the unthinkable and scheduled a 4 month sabbatical from work to focus on another love of mine - horses. I spent the summer as a working student for Megan Moore at Team CEO Eventing in Georgetown, Kentucky. The experience and perspective I gained from this adventure is immeasurable. I fell in love with horses all over again and changed from a timid rider to a more educated, confident one.
In 2013, I married the man of my dreams, Nathan Rover, and convinced him to move with me to Kentucky so that I can continue to learn and ride with Team CEO Eventing. We are both fortunate enough to work for great companies who supported us in this transition.
In 2014, Megan went on a shopping trip to Ireland and picked out a new horse for me. Coolnaboy Rubens is quickly becoming my horse of a lifetime and I am excited to see what the future has in store for us.
I invite you to read my blog and join me as I continue to live my dreams riding horses in Kentucky.
